Using Traffic Exchanges to Build Your Network Marketing List

Traffic exchanges are a free way to get traffic and leads. Many traffic exchange users are new to internet marketing, and are looking for ways to build their business. Therefore, you can use them to help build your list, with an opt in page that helps teach them about marketing.

An effective capture page to use on a traffic exchange will offer the prospect free email or video training on how to build traffic, or other techniques to use to assist them with their marketing. Since many people who are using the exchanges already have a business, helping them to market by offering them something of value is one method to build your list.

Traffic exchanges are free to join, however, almost all of them allow you to purchase hits. This can save you a lot of time. You can also build a downline in each site you use as you get a certain percentage of credits depending on how much they surf. This way you can get more exposure to your site with less time and effort.

The best exchanges are ones you have to surf manually, rather than auto surf, because this assures people are seeing your web site. You will want a web site that loads quickly, since the viewer will only be required to stay on your site for anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds to get credit. You also have the ability on some of them to target your traffic, for example to certain countries, and by areas of interest.

There are dozens of exchanges to choose from, Traffic Swarm, Webmaster Quest, Easy Hits 4 U and many others are well established and have thousands of members, which can ensure a lot of traffic for your site.

Free internet traffic can be used to start an internet
business. This is especially useful when you are just
starting and on a very tight budget. You may not be making
any money yet and not have the confidence to start
advertising using ppc, ezines and banner adverts. You may
not be confident enough that you can actually make money
using paid advertising until you have tweaked your squeeze
pages, sales pages and back end system and sure that it all
works and converts visitors to sales. I am going to show
you my favourite ways of driving free internet traffic to
my web site.

Writing articles is my favourite way of driving traffic to
my web site. All it takes is thirty to fifty minutes to
write one article. Then I submit it to my favourite Ezine
directory EzineArticles and then that article will drive
traffic to my web site for years to come. You need hundreds
of articles to make this strategy work though and many
people do not get significant results after writing one
article and give up. Also make sure that you have the
keywords that you are targeting in the title and at least
three times in the body.

You can use forum marketing to drive traffic to your web
site. Search using Google for forums related to your niche
register and create a signature with your unique selling
proposition. Contribute regularly to the forums posting
questions and answers. Over a period of time other forum
members will begin to trust you. However, it is very
important not to spam the forums as this will damage your
reputation.

Reciprocal linking can be very effective in driving traffic
to your web site. Search for other web sites related to
your niche not competing directly with you and email them
asking to exchange links with you. I suggest you put their
link up first and check in a few weeks to make sure that
they have linked back to you.

Email signatures is basically the one overlooked method of
driving free traffic to your web site that you can
implement immediately. The P.S. in an email is the second
most read part of the email. So basically all you have to
do is add your message to your signature in the P.S. part
using an effective headline.

Traffic swarm has always worked well for me as a traffic
exchange. You need to target your adverts to the niche you
are focusing on, create an effective advert for users to
click on and a squeeze page with very good advertising
copy.

Once you have implemented your free internet traffic
advertising campaign you can also expand to paid
advertising as you are sure that all your pages convert.

Build links with other web sites to increase your Page rank.
